Booking and cancellation terms

Booking

  • Send us your date, hours and plans.
  • We confirm quickly, always within 24 hours, and send a secure payment link.
  • Access details and the entry code arrive the day of your booking.
  • 4-hour minimum on all bookings.

Payment and deposit

  • Bookings under 6 hours with no add-ons pay in full.
  • Bookings of 6+ hours, or with a barber or bartender, pay a $300 refundable deposit up front and the balance before the booking. The deposit also covers damage.
  • Unpaid holds are released after 48 hours.

Cancellation

  • 72+ hours before: Full refund, including the deposit.
  • Under 72 hours: The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Under 12 hours: The deposit is forfeited, plus a $250 late-cancellation fee.

Access

  • Located on the 4th floor of a historic building, the studio is accessible via stairs only (not ADA compliant; no passenger elevator).
  • Freight elevator access for equipment load-in can be arranged in advance upon request.
  • Standard bookings run until 3:00 AM; please contact us directly if your production requires extended hours.
  • Guests accept the house rules and cancellation terms, including the building access, before paying.

House rules

  1. Up to 40 people, including vendors, crew and performers.
  2. Your booking covers setup and cleanup. Please arrive and leave within your booked time. Extra time is billed at your booking's hourly rate.
  3. Access ends at 3 AM unless arranged in advance.
  4. Your entry code arrives the day of your booking. Share it only with your guests and keep the street door closed behind you.
  5. The studio is on the top floor of a historic building with no guest elevator. The freight elevator can move equipment when arranged in advance.
  6. Smoking in the building is not allowed, per property management and building rules.
  7. No open flames, confetti or glitter without approval.
  8. Keep the stairwell and hallway clear.
  9. The windows at the back of the studio sit very low to the floor. Take care near them and don't lean out, for your own safety.
  10. Please do not touch or move the art unless otherwise discussed. Furniture, including the barber chair, can be moved to accommodate guest preferences.
  11. Cleaning fees are included in the booking price. However, guests must use assigned trash cans, bag and tie all trash, and leave it near the suite entrance upon exiting the space. Excessive containers, food, or other trash left out around the space may incur additional cleaning fees.
  12. Clean up large spills right away. If something could stain the floors or needs more than a quick wipe, like vomit, tell us as soon as possible.
